Step one – Yard cleanup

It has been six weeks since we began the restoration of the Dominick-Boland property. One of the most notable changes has been in the landscaping of the property. We have removed the overgrowth in scrub trees, wisteria, and ivy that had overtaken much of the yard and house. In doing so, we have uncovered hidden features such as a koi pond, a cobblestone garden wall, and a second set of front steps that were all hidden by thick ivy.
Large hardwood trees canopy parts of the yard, including walnut, pecan, willow oaks, and a live oak. There are also mature ornamentals including crepe myrtle, holly, and pomegranate. Our landscaper has been hard at work and we are excited to see the yard slowly but surely coming back to a beautiful appearance.
We look forward each week to see new discoveries as we continue with the restoration.
